ACTOR : Neerja Naik

 

Neerja Naik is a British actress, who graduated from Cambridge University before training at the Drama Centre London, whose alumni include Paul Bettany, Anne-Marie Duff, Michael Fassbender, Colin Firth, Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Tara Fitzgerald.She plays Anita, a survivor of trafficking in 'Sold' directed by Oscar & Emmy award winning Jeffrey Brown, starring Gillian Anderson & David Arquette with Emma Thompson as a producer. The film was a Best of Fest pick at the Palm Springs International Film Festival 2015. Neerja will also be seen in ‘Hackney's Finest’ playing the role of Pari, an Afghan biker chick, directed by Chris Bouchard who directed 'The Hunt for Gollum' (11m views on YouTube). She was also seen in BBC's ‘Casualty’ in an episode directed by Oscar nominated Ian Barnes.

 

In 'Life Goes On' Neerja starred alongside Bollywood veterans Om Puri, Sharmila Tagore & Girish Karnad. As well as playing the role of Anita in 'Sold', Neerja has become an Ambassador for Childreach International and their Taught Not Trafficked campaign. 

ACTOR : Lawrence McGrandles Jnr

 

Lawrence has appeared in some of the stalwarts of UK television including Eastenders and Poirot and appeared on stage for directors such as Simon Callow, Sir Peter Hall and Sir Alan Ayckboourn.

 

Lawrence is a versatile actor with experience in stage, screen and radio performance. He is also a qualified martial arts instructor and this allows him to bring a physical confidence to all his roles.

ACTOR : Simon Purdey

 

Formerly a barman, helicopter pilot and model (among other things) Simon Purdey graduated from Drama Studio London in 2010 and has done a variety of work since; including short films and voicing a number of characters in the 3D animated feature "The Unbeatables" from Academy Award winning director Juan José Campanella.

 

He is married with two young sons named Aurelio and Aramis.

ACTOR : Jordan Clarke

 

Jordan is a young and fresh Actor from East London. After completing a degree in Theatre Practice she began her actor training at London’s Identity Drama School where she gained first class tuition in Acting for the stage. She also received on-screen training at Kingdom School of Arts. Over the last few years Jordan has been fortunate enough to work with Academy Award winning director, Ron Howard in his feature film ‘Rush’. She has also landed a role in ITV's drama ‘Life of Crime'. With a love for live performance Jordan has performed in several theatre productions including immersive theatre shows in London and abroad. Jordan has also played roles in various commercials and web based videos.
 

ACTOR : Danny Nutt

 

Danny trained with National Youth Music Theatre and at Rose Bruford College Film credits include- Captain Phillips, Postcode, Luminal and Velvet Goldmine

ACTOR : Valmike Rampersad

 

Valmike graduated with distinction from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, England. He played an assassin and son of BAFTA nominee, Art Malik, in 'Hotel' (semi-finalist at the Academy Awards, winner Best Drama, L.A. International Festival).

 

He played the lead, a manic depressive, opposite BAFTA nominee Saeed Jaffrey in 'Open Secrets' (winner Best Film, Buffalo-San Film Festival). He has acted in several features in Hollywood including 'The Exquisite Continent' by Emmy Nominated Director, Stephen Gyllenhaal ('Losing Isaiah') and 'Radio Mary' by Sundance award winning director, Gary Walkow.

 

Valmike completed 125 Episodes as the lead in British TV drama series, 'Cloud 9', shown on Sky and Virgin TV. He starred in Brit Indie feature 'Meet Pursuit Delange' alongside Jason Flemyng, Colin Salmon and Peter Bowles. He also leads in new feature, 'Scandalous' shot in the Caribbean and directed by six-time Emmy nominee, Todd Kessler.

ACTOR : Aliya Md Aris

 

"Aliya's first ever filming experience was at the London Film School, after she was approached by third-year students looking for extras in their graduation film. During these long days on set, Aliya discovered an interest in working in front of the camera, and therefore seeking more and more opportunities since. This has so far included starring and dancing in music videos, and being a regular extra on E4's Made in Chelsea.
